Checking Durability in Real-Time

Press TAB to open your stats display. The screen shows the remaining durability of each equipped armor piece — helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.

Understanding Durability Values

Each armor piece displays how many hits or damage points it can still absorb before breaking. As you take damage or engage in combat, these values decrease in real-time.

Planning Repairs

Use the durability information to decide when to:

• Return to base for repairs
• Use an anvil to mend your armor
• Craft replacement pieces
• Apply mending enchantments

Quick Checks

You can press TAB frequently during exploration or combat to keep tabs on armor condition without opening your inventory. This is especially useful before entering dangerous situations, allowing you to assess whether your current gear will survive the encounter.
