Enable Mock Testing for Precise Damage Data

Understanding Mock Testing

The mockTest option in your config file simulates attacks on your player to gather accurate damage calculations. This helps you see exactly how much damage you'd take from various sources.

Enabling Mock Testing

Open config/X-PlayerInfo.json and set mockTest to true. Save the file and restart your game.

Important Compatibility Notes

When mock testing is enabled, the mod simulates combat scenarios. This can occasionally conflict with other mods, particularly those that handle:

  • Waystone interactions
  • Interruptible actions
  • Custom combat mechanics

Best Practice

Only enable mock testing if you need precise damage data and don't use conflicting mods. If you experience issues with waystones or action interruptions, disable mock testing by setting it back to false. Test with it disabled first if you're unsure about mod compatibility.
