What Happens When You Die

When you die in X-Life Mod, you respawn at your spawn point (or bed if set). Your maximum health increases by 1 heart, but your current health resets to full. You keep your inventory items if keepInventory is enabled, otherwise you drop them.

Using Commands to Restore Health

If you die unexpectedly and lose progress, server administrators can use /sethealth [yourname] [hearts] to restore your maximum health to what it was before the death. This is useful if:

• You died to a bug or lag
• You accidentally fell while AFK
• You want to undo an unintended death

Preventing Accidental Deaths

1. Enable keepInventory if you're worried about losing items

2. Set a bed spawn point in a safe location

3. Avoid playing when tired or distracted

4. Use /gethealth to confirm your current health before risky activities

5. Stay away from edges, lava, and deep water when your health is low

If no admin is available to help, accept the death as progression and move forward with your increased hearts.
