Appreciate Custom Blocky Clouds
Understand the Cloud Design
Wozt Vanilla Plus Shaders replaces Minecraft's flat cloud layer with custom 3D blocky clouds. These clouds maintain the game's iconic blocky appearance while adding depth and visual interest to the sky.
When and Where to See Them
Custom clouds appear:
- During the day when the sky is visible
- At sunrise and sunset for dramatic lighting effects
- In clear weather (clouds disappear during rain)
- At any altitude where you can see the sky
Best Viewing Conditions
To fully appreciate the cloud design:
1. Climb to high ground or a tall structure
2. Look up at the sky during midday for bright, well-lit clouds
3. Watch during sunset for warm-colored cloud lighting
4. Use High or Cinematic profiles for the most detailed cloud rendering
Visual Characteristics
The blocky clouds are rounded and organic-looking while respecting Minecraft's cubic design language. They cast subtle shadows and interact with the shader's warm lighting system, creating a cohesive sky. The clouds move naturally across the sky, adding atmosphere without overwhelming the landscape below.
