How to See How Long You've Played a World in Minecraft
Where the Time Appears
Once World Play Time is installed, you don't need to open the world to check your hours. Open the Singleplayer world selection screen (the list where you pick a save). Next to each world's name you'll see a small tag showing the time you've spent in that world. This is the whole point of the mod — it saves you from doing mental math on F3 day counters.
Reading the Tag
1. Launch Minecraft and go to the world list.
2. Look beside the world name for the time tag.
3. Hover or read it directly — it reflects real time spent in that world, not in-game day count.
Because it uses actual play time rather than the F3 day counter, it stays accurate even if you used /time set or other commands to skip or slow in-game days. That's the key difference from the vanilla method.
If You Don't See It
- Make sure the world has been loaded at least once with the mod active.
- Check that you're on the world selection screen, not the pause menu.
- If you run other mods that heavily modify the world list UI, they may overlap the tag.
That's it — no config needed for the basic display.
