Prevent Dangerous Commands from Modifying Protected Regions

Lock Down Region Management

Accidental or malicious use of WorldGuard commands can delete regions or clear flags. World Guard Region Protect Plugin blocks these dangerous operations in protected zones.

What gets blocked

Inside protected regions, the plugin prevents:

• Commands that delete or modify region flags
• Bucket placement (water and lava)
• Any block breaking or placing by unpermitted players

Even server operators are restricted by default, protecting your builds from mistakes.

Set up notifications

Assign the wgrp.notify.admin permission to your staff team. They'll receive alerts whenever someone attempts to run restricted editing commands in protected areas, helping you respond to threats quickly.

Grant exceptions carefully

Only give the wgrp.regionprotect permission to builders you completely trust. This allows them to bypass restrictions within protected zones.

Reload after changes

Run /wgrp reload after modifying permissions or configuration to ensure all restrictions take effect immediately.
