Prevent Players from Trampling Crops and Breaking Decorations
Protecting Farms and Decorative Items
Crops and decorations like paintings and item frames are vulnerable to accidental (or intentional) damage. World Guard can shield them from player interference.
Protecting Crops from Trampling
1. Create a protected region around your farm or garden area.
2. Enable crop-trample protection within that region. This stops players from jumping on farmland and destroying crops.
3. Test by jumping on crops—they should remain undamaged.
Protecting Decorations
1. In the same region or a new one, enable item-frame and painting protection.
2. Configure the setting to prevent players from removing or damaging these decorative blocks.
3. Verify protection by attempting to interact with a painting or item frame—you should be blocked unless you're an owner.
Combining Protections
You can apply multiple protections to a single region. A well-protected farm might have crop trampling disabled, item frames protected, and fire spread blocked all at once. This creates a complete safe zone for your agricultural and decorative work.
