Why You See No Wall

The World Border Mod does not render a visible barrier. Instead, it relies on chat messages to warn you. This means you can walk right up to the edge without seeing anything, so paying attention to chat is essential.

Proximity Warnings

As you approach the configured limit, the mod automatically sends an in-game message telling you that you are close to the border. Treat this as your cue to turn back or prepare for the wrap. The exact distance at which the warning fires depends on your config, so if it feels too late or too early, adjust the relevant threshold value in the config file.

Crossing Messages

When you actually cross the border, another message confirms it. If looping is enabled, you are immediately teleported to the corresponding coordinate on the opposite side. If looping is disabled, you are simply stopped or blocked depending on your settings.

Practical Tips

Keep your chat visible while exploring. On servers, watch for these messages so you do not accidentally drag a group past the edge. If you want stronger feedback, you can raise the warning distance in the config so you get more notice before reaching the limit.
