Building with Realistic Trees and Natural Decorations

Using New Tree Structures

Woodlands Extra Mod generates larger, more realistic trees compared to vanilla Minecraft. These trees use only vanilla wood and leaf blocks but feature improved branching, varied heights, and natural proportions. You can harvest and replant saplings from these trees to recreate their appearance in your builds.

Harvesting and Replanting

Collect saplings from the new biomes by breaking leaves. Each biome's trees produce their respective sapling type (oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, or dark oak).

Plant saplings in the same biome type or similar climate zones for best results. Trees will generate with the mod's improved structure when they grow naturally.

Incorporating Decorative Elements

New biomes feature:

  • Boulder formations: Naturally generated stone clusters you can mine and repurpose
  • Flower clusters: Dense groupings of vanilla flowers for landscaping
  • Ground cover: Varied grass, moss, and small plants

Recreate these manually by placing blocks in similar patterns. Study the natural formations in each biome, then replicate them in your builds for cohesive, realistic landscaping that matches the mod's aesthetic.
