Making Mobs Animate Smoothly With Whimscape Textures

What You Should See

With the addon working, mobs keep Whimscape's painted, storybook look but gain Fresh Animations' fluid limb movement, head tracking, and idle motions. If animations play but textures look flat or vanilla, the addon is not overriding correctly.

Tuning the Experience

1. Keep the addon at the top of the pack list.

2. Lower your entity render distance if animations stutter — more animated mobs cost performance.

3. Turn off any shader that replaces entity models, as it can strip the custom animations.

4. If eyes or faces look misaligned, another pack is editing the same mob; disable it.

Checking Specific Mobs

Walk through a village and watch villagers, then visit a cave for zombies and spiders. Each should animate individually. Mobs that stay rigid indicate a partial override, usually from a leftover pack still enabled lower in the list.
