How to Prepare Gear Before Entering a Dungeons Arise Dungeon
Why Preparation Matters
Dungeons Arise structures are not beginner content. They are packed with hostile mobs, tight corridors, vertical drops, and trap-like layouts. Going in with iron armor and a stone sword will get you killed quickly. Treat each dungeon like a mini-boss run.
Recommended Loadout
- Armor: Diamond or netherite, ideally with Protection enchants. Blast Protection helps against any explosive traps or creepers.
- Weapons: A strong sword (Sharpness) and a bow or crossbow with plenty of arrows. Some rooms are large enough that ranged combat is safer.
- Tools: Pickaxe for breaking through walls or mining ores, axe for shields, and a shovel for gravel or sand traps.
- Utility: Torches or night vision potions, a water bucket for fall damage and climbing, blocks for bridging and barricading, and a bed or respawn anchor if you plan to set up a forward base.
- Food: High-saturation food like golden carrots or steak. Healing potions are strongly recommended.
Enchantments and Mod Synergy
The mod adds its own enchantments, so check what is available on the wiki's enchantments page and apply them to your gear before heading out. Some enchantments may specifically help against dungeon mobs or environmental hazards.
Before You Enter
Clear your inventory of junk, set your spawn nearby, and consider bringing a friend. Solo runs are possible but far riskier.
