Use All Three Welcome Messages Effectively

Plan Your Message Layout

The mod allows three separate messages, each with its own text, color, and optional link. Plan what each message should communicate. For example:

  • Message 1: A friendly greeting
  • Message 2: Server rules or important info
  • Message 3: A link to Discord or your website

Configure Each Message

In your config file, set up message1, message2, and message3 with different text and colors. Use contrasting colors to make each message stand out—for instance, gold for the greeting, red for rules, and aqua for the link.

Add Links Where Needed

You don't need to add a URL to every message. Only add links where they make sense. Message 3 often works well for a clickable link, but you can place links on any message.

Test the Full Sequence

Save your config and join the game. All three messages should appear in order when you join, with a blank line before the first one to separate them from chat clutter. The spacing helps players notice the welcome information without it getting lost in the noise.
