How to Craft and Use Warp Scrolls, Return Scrolls, and Bound Scrolls

Warp Scroll Basics

A Warp Scroll is a single-use teleport item. Right-click while holding it to open a destination picker showing your discovered Waystones. Choose one and you teleport there, consuming the scroll. These are perfect for one-way trips when you do not want to walk back to a Waystone first.

Return Scroll

A Return Scroll always sends you to your bound Waystone (the last one you set as your return point). Bind it by right-clicking a Waystone and choosing "Set as Return Point." Return Scrolls are your emergency escape — keep one in your hotbar at all times.

Bound Scroll

A Bound Scroll is tied to a specific Waystone at the moment of crafting or binding. It only teleports to that one destination. Useful for setting up a permanent route between two bases without needing to remember which Waystone is which.

Portal Scroll

Portal Scrolls are used to create or activate Warp Portals. Right-click a Portal Scroll on a frame of obsidian-like blocks to open a portal to a chosen destination. These are the cross-dimension option when you want a permanent gateway rather than a one-shot item.

Crafting Tips

All scrolls require paper plus an Attuned Shard or similar core. Keep a stack of blank scrolls and bind them as needed rather than crafting each one individually.
