Repositioning Your Lantern

The lantern can be worn in three different positions: right hip, left hip, or left hand. You may want to change positions for aesthetic reasons or to avoid visual obstruction while building or fighting.

Accessing Position Settings

Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible from the main menu or in-game settings). Navigate to the Waylight Mod settings and locate the Lantern Position option. Select your preferred position from the available choices.

Changes take effect immediately—you'll see the lantern move to its new location as soon as you confirm the setting.

Position Considerations

• Right or Left Hip: The lantern hangs at your side with natural swinging physics, keeping your hands free for tools and weapons.
• Left Hand: Holding the lantern in your hand gives a different visual angle and may feel more immersive, though it occupies your off-hand space visually.

Experiment with each position to find what works best for your playstyle and preference.
