Track Oxidation Progress on Unwaxed Copper

Monitoring Unwaxed Blocks Over Time

Unwaxed copper blocks oxidize gradually through four stages. The mod's yellow dot indicator helps you manage this process by making it easy to distinguish blocks you *want* to oxidize from those you don't.

Managing oxidation:

1. Keep unwaxed copper blocks separate from waxed ones using the yellow dot indicator

2. Place unwaxed blocks where you want them to weather naturally

3. Periodically check your inventory to see which blocks are still unwaxed (no dot)

4. Wax blocks at any oxidation stage by applying honey—the yellow dot will appear once waxed

Planning Your Build

If you're creating a build with intentional color variation—such as a weathered roof that transitions from fresh copper to fully oxidized—use the mod's visual distinction to keep track of which blocks you've already waxed. Unwaxed blocks (no dot) will continue changing color, while waxed blocks (with dot) remain frozen at their current stage. This makes it easy to plan multi-stage copper designs.
