Does Water Vision Mod work automatically or do I need to enable it?
The mod works automatically whenever you enter water—you don't need to toggle anything. The improved visibility applies to all bodies of water, including oceans, rivers, and underwater caves.
Can I adjust how far I can see underwater?
Most versions of Water Vision Mod include configuration options to customize fog distance and light levels. Check your mod config folder for settings you can tweak to match your preference.
Does this mod work in the Nether or End?
Water Vision Mod only affects underwater visibility in normal water blocks. It does not apply to lava or other liquids, and has no effect in the Nether or End dimensions.
Will Water Vision Mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is lightweight and shouldn't cause significant performance drops on most systems. If you experience lag, try reducing the fog distance value in the config file.
Does Water Vision Mod work with other vision or shader mods?

Why can't I see better underwater in multiplayer servers?

Water Vision Mod only changes visibility and light levels—it does not alter mining speed, tool durability, or any gameplay mechanics related to breaking blocks.

Does Water Vision Mod work in caves that are flooded with water?

What happens to my vision if I take off my helmet or armor underwater?
