How to Fix VTDownloader Packs Not Appearing or Applying

Pack Missing from the List

If a pack you downloaded does not appear in the resource pack selection screen, first confirm the download finished. Then open the resource packs folder and check that the zip sits directly inside it rather than in a nested folder. Minecraft only reads packs at the top level. If the file is misplaced, move it up or re-download through the mod.

Pack Shows but Won't Activate

A pack that appears on the left but refuses to move to the active list is usually incompatible with your game version or is not a valid resource pack. Try downloading it again through VTDownloader to get a clean copy. If it still fails, the pack itself may not support your version.

Pack Active but Nothing Changes

Resource packs only affect the textures and models they actually replace. If a pack seems to do nothing, check its position in the active list. Packs lower down are overridden by higher ones, so a pack changing the same files as one above it will have no visible effect. Move it above the conflicting pack and click Done.

Changes Not Showing After Activating

Sometimes resources need a reload. Click Done to apply, or leave and re-enter the resource pack screen. If textures still look wrong, remove the pack, re-download it through VTDownloader, and activate the fresh copy.
