How to Find Downloaded Vanilla Tweaks Packs After Using VTDownloader

Where the Files Go

VTDownloader saves downloaded packs into the same resource packs folder Minecraft uses for all resource packs. You can reach it from the resource pack selection screen by clicking the button that opens the pack folder. The packs are stored as zip files, one per pack, named after the pack you chose.

Confirming the Download Worked

Return to the resource pack selection screen. Downloaded packs appear in the available list on the left. If a pack you expected is missing, check whether the download completed; interrupted downloads may not produce a usable file. Re-run the download from the VTDownloader button if needed.

If a Pack Does Not Show Up

Make sure the file is a valid resource pack zip and sits directly in the resource packs folder, not inside a subfolder. Minecraft only scans the top level of that folder. If you moved or renamed files manually, move them back or re-download through the mod.

Managing Multiple Packs

Because every pack is a separate zip, you can delete ones you no longer want straight from the folder, or simply leave them inactive in the list. Keeping the folder tidy makes it easier to spot the packs you actually use. If you later update a pack, download it again through VTDownloader so the newest version replaces the old file.
