How to Download Vanilla Tweaks Packs In-Game with VTDownloader

Opening the Downloader

Open the resource pack selection screen from Options, then click the VTDownloader button that appears there. This launches an in-game browser showing the available Vanilla Tweaks packs. You do not need to alt-tab out of Minecraft or open a web browser.

Browsing and Selecting Packs

Vanilla Tweaks packs are grouped by category, such as utility, aesthetic, and quality-of-life tweaks. Click a category to expand it, then click individual packs to select them. Many packs have options you can toggle before downloading, so check the settings for each pack you pick. Your selections are remembered while the screen is open, so you can build up a batch of packs before committing.

Downloading

Once you have chosen your packs, confirm the download. VTDownloader fetches the selected packs and places them directly into your resource packs folder automatically, so you do not have to move any files yourself. When the download finishes, the new packs appear in the resource pack list on the left side of the selection screen.

Activating the Packs

Select each downloaded pack and click the arrow to move it to the active list on the right. Order matters: packs higher in the list override lower ones, so place packs that change the same textures deliberately. Click Done to apply, and Minecraft reloads your resources.
