How to Play Minecraft VR Mod Seated (No Roomscale Space)

Choosing Seated Mode

If you don't have room to walk around, the mod supports seated play. Sit facing your tracking sensors or cameras, then launch the game. In the mod's VR options, enable the seated/smooth-rotation style of movement so your view turns with the controller rather than requiring you to physically spin.

Movement Controls

• Use the thumbstick or trackpad on your movement hand to walk, strafe, and back up.
• Use the other controller's stick to snap-turn or smooth-turn your view.
• Keep your hands resting near your lap or armrests; the mod tracks hand position, so sudden large arm movements can swing your in-game hands wildly.

Comfort Tips

Seated VR can cause motion sickness if you use smooth turning and smooth locomotion together. Start with snap turning and teleport-style or slower movement, then switch to smooth once you're comfortable. Take breaks at the first sign of nausea.

Interacting While Seated

Aim your controller at the block you want, then use the trigger to mine or place. Because you can't physically reach, rely on the pointer ray for distant blocks. If your hands feel misaligned, recenter your headset from your VR dashboard while sitting in your normal posture.
