Search for Items Inside Chests Across Your World

Opening the Loot Finder

Access the loot viewer screen from your main map menu. This tool scans chests in nearby chunks and displays their contents. Type or search for the specific item you're looking for—you can search by item name or even enchantment type.

Locating Your Target Item

Once you've entered your search term, the mod displays all matching items found in chests within range. Each result shows which chest contains the item. Click on any result to highlight that chest's location on your map with a visual marker.

Expanding Your Search

If you don't find what you need nearby, move to a new area and scan again. The loot finder only searches chunks that have been loaded, so exploring new territory expands your search pool. This is especially useful for finding rare enchanted books, specific tools, or valuable loot without manually opening every chest you encounter.
