How do I open the VoxelMap world map?
Press the map key (default is M) to toggle between the minimap and the full-screen world map. You can rebind this in the mod's settings or your controls menu if it conflicts with another mod.
Why is my minimap not showing up?
Check that the minimap is enabled in VoxelMap's settings and that no other minimap mod is conflicting with it. Some HUD-hiding settings or fullscreen map modes will also hide the minimap until you toggle back.
How do I move the minimap to a different corner?
Open the VoxelMap settings menu and change the minimap position option, or drag the minimap directly if your version supports it. Coordinates and other HUD elements can be repositioned the same way.
How do I create a waypoint at my current location?
Open the world map or minimap menu and use the waypoint creation option to drop a point at your current coordinates. You can then rename it, recolor it, and assign it to a dimension.
Why can't I see my waypoints in the Nether or End?
Waypoints are stored per-dimension, so a waypoint made in the Overworld won't appear in the Nether or End by default. Make sure you're viewing the correct dimension in the waypoint list or create separate waypoints for each dimension.
How do I teleport to a waypoint?
Select the waypoint in the map or waypoint list and use the teleport option, which requires cheats or operator permissions on the server. On survival servers without cheats, teleporting is disabled and waypoints are navigation aids only.
How do I find where I died?
VoxelMap automatically places a death waypoint at your last death location, visible on the minimap and world map. Open the map and follow the marker to return and collect your items.
Can I share waypoints with friends on a server?
Yes, waypoints can be shared through the mod's waypoint sharing or export/import options, depending on the version. Shared waypoints appear in the recipient's list once imported.
Does VoxelMap work with other minimap or map mods?
Running two minimap mods at once usually causes overlapping HUDs and keybind conflicts, so disable one of them. VoxelMap generally coexists fine with mods that don't add their own minimap.
Does VoxelMap hurt my FPS or performance?
The minimap and mob radar use some rendering and CPU resources, especially with a large render distance or many waypoints. Lower the minimap update rate, reduce radar range, or disable mob radar if you notice frame drops.
