Display Custom Messages with the Vote Command

Create a Custom Vote Message

Beyond simple links, the Vote Command Mod lets you display formatted text messages to players. This is useful for providing voting instructions, server information, or rewards details.

Setting Up Your Message

1. Open Mod Menu and navigate to Vote Command Mod's config

2. In the text box, type your custom message

3. You can include multiple lines by using line breaks in the config

4. Save your configuration

Message Best Practices

  • Keep messages concise so they're easy to read in chat
  • Include clear instructions (e.g., "Click the link below to vote for our server")
  • Add any relevant URLs or server information
  • Consider mentioning rewards players receive for voting if applicable

Viewing Your Message

When a player executes /vote, your configured message will appear in their chat window. The message persists long enough for players to read and click any links, making it an effective way to encourage server participation.
