Participate in Active Votes as a Regular Player

Casting Your Vote

When another player starts a vote to punish someone, you can participate in the decision.

Step 1: Watch the chat for a vote announcement. The plugin broadcasts when a vote begins, showing the accused player and the reason.

Step 2: Decide if you agree with the proposed punishment.

Step 3: If you support the vote, type:

/addvote

`

You can only cast one vote per active session—you cannot vote multiple times.

Important Notes

Your server admin may have enabled chat lockdown during votes, which temporarily prevents regular chat messages so players focus on voting. This doesn't affect your ability to use /addvote.

If you lack the VOTEBAN.VOTE permission, you won't be able to participate. Contact your server admin if you believe this is an error.
