Manage Vote Spam and Cooldowns

Vote Frequency Limits

The Vote Ban Plugin includes built-in spam prevention to stop players from flooding votes. You cannot start unlimited votes in quick succession.

How Cooldowns Work

After you start a vote, there is a waiting period before you can start another one.

The exact cooldown duration is configured by your server admin and may vary between servers.

What Happens If You Try to Vote Too Soon

Why This Matters

Cooldowns prevent vote fatigue, where the same player repeatedly targets others or the same person gets voted on constantly. This keeps the voting system fair and prevents it from becoming a harassment tool. Use your votes wisely and only when genuinely necessary.
