Starting Your Island

Voidblock Skyblock drops you onto a small floating island with nothing but a chest. Open it first — it holds the basic items you need to begin. From there, the classic skyblock loop applies: gather what little you have, expand carefully, and turn limited resources into more.

Check your recipe book early. This mod adds renewable resource recipes, so materials that normally run out can be crafted again through new methods. That is the key to surviving long-term, since the void gives you nothing for free.

The world extends forever in every direction, and new islands appear as you build outward. You will encounter large, normal, small, and very small island types, each with its own resources to collect. A working Nether dimension is included, so progression beyond the overworld is possible.

Play solo or bring friends into a shared world. If you want a harder test, hardcore mode is available from the start.
