You begin on a lonely floating island with only a chest. The chest contains basic items to help you get going.

It updates the classic setup with modern blocks and items, plus new crafting recipes. It also adds new island sizes to explore and gather resources from.

You can find large, normal, small, and very small islands as you build outward. The starting areas also have a fresh, modernized look.

You use Renewable Resource Recipes found in your recipe book. These give you new ways to craft materials that would otherwise be limited.

Yes, the map includes a working Nether dimension. The overworld also goes on forever.

You can play alone or invite friends for a multiplayer challenge. A hardcore mode is also available for a tougher test.
