Why do my enchanted books still look vanilla?
The resource pack needs to be loaded in your resource packs folder and activated in your world settings. Make sure it's positioned above any conflicting packs in your load order, and restart your world if you've just added it.
Do the glowing covers work in bright daylight?
The emissive glow is most visible in dark areas, caves, and at night. In bright daylight, the custom textures are still visible but the glowing effect is less pronounced since natural light overpowers the emissive layer.
Can I use this with OptiFine?
Yes, the pack is designed to work directly with OptiFine's custom item textures feature. Make sure OptiFine is installed and custom item textures are enabled in your video settings.
Which mods' enchanted books get custom textures?
The pack covers enchantments from So Many Enchantments, Electroblob's Wizardry, Spartan Weaponry, Spartan Shields, Better End Forge, Defiled Lands, and several others listed in the compatibility section. Standard Minecraft enchantments are also included.
How do I tell enchantment levels apart visually?
Each enchantment tier has its own distinct design and color scheme, so a level I book looks noticeably different from a level III or V book of the same enchantment. This lets you quickly identify power levels without opening tooltips.
Will this resource pack affect my FPS?
The pack uses standard texture files and emissive properties, so performance impact is minimal. If you experience lag, check that you're not running conflicting resource packs or that your graphics settings aren't already maxed out.
What if a mod adds new enchantments after I install this pack?
New enchantments from mods won't have custom textures unless the pack is updated to include them. You'll see the standard enchanted book texture for those new enchantments.
Can I use this pack with other enchantment-related resource packs?
You can stack it with other packs, but place Vivid Arcane Glyphs higher in your resource pack list so its textures take priority. If conflicts occur, disable the other enchantment pack.
Do weapon and armor enchantments have different designs?
Yes, the pack distinguishes between weapon enchantments, armor enchantments, tool enchantments, and shield enchantments, so you can identify what type of item an enchantment belongs to just by looking at the book cover.
Why do some books look the same even though they're different enchantments?
This shouldn't happen with the full pack installed—each enchantment should have a distinct design. If you're seeing duplicates, verify the pack is fully extracted and no files are corrupted or overwritten by another resource pack.
