Configure Wound Visibility for Different Mob Types

Access the Settings Menu

Open your mod configuration screen (usually through the main menu or mod settings folder). Look for the Visualhealth section to adjust how wounds appear on different creatures.

Adjust Wound Intensity

Find the option to control how many visible marks appear on low-health enemies. You can increase this to see more detailed damage progression, or decrease it for a cleaner look. This setting applies globally to all hostile mobs.

Disable Marks on Peaceful Animals

Locate the toggle for friendly animal damage marks. Disable wounds on cows, pigs, sheep, and other passive mobs if you prefer to only see battle damage on hostile creatures like zombies, skeletons, and spiders.

Save Your Preferences

Confirm your changes in the settings menu. Your configuration will persist across game sessions, so you won't need to reconfigure after restarting Minecraft.

Test Your Settings

Load a world and damage a few different mobs to verify your settings work as intended. Adjust further if needed—you can return to the configuration menu anytime without restarting the game.
