Strategy for Village Defense

Arming your villagers creates a protective layer against hostile mobs during raids and night attacks.

Armor Selection

• Leather armor: Lightweight and renewable; good for basic protection.
• Iron armor: Offers stronger defense; recommended for important traders.
• Diamond armor: Maximum durability and protection; save for your most valuable villagers.
• Gold armor: Middle ground; less durable than iron but easier to obtain than diamond.

Defense Setup

1. Prioritize key traders: Equip librarians, clerics, and other valuable profession villagers first.

2. Distribute armor types: Mix armor materials across your village so losses are manageable.

3. Equip multiple pieces: Give each villager a helmet, chestplate, and boots for comprehensive protection.

4. Include babies: Don't overlook baby villagers—they can wear armor and need protection too.

Maintenance
