Choosing Which Village You Spawn In

How the Mod Picks the Village

The mod does not let you hand-pick a village from a menu. Instead, it scans the world and selects the village closest to the coordinates x=0, z=0, then sets your spawn to that village's center. This means the village you get is determined by world seed and terrain generation, not by any setting you change.

Influencing the Result

Because selection is based on proximity to the origin, you can nudge outcomes indirectly:

  • Change the world seed to reroll which village generates near the origin.
  • If you want a specific biome's village (for example, a savanna or taiga village), keep generating new seeds until the village near x=0, z=0 sits in that biome.
  • Avoid world types or generators that push structures far from the origin, since the nearest village may then be very distant or absent.

If no village generates near the origin at all, the mod has nothing to snap to, and you may spawn in the wild. In that case, try a different seed. Once you find a village you like, write down the seed so you can reuse it later.
