Switch Between Upright and Reclining Seat Positions
Adjusting Seat Posture
Coaster seats support two distinct seating angles: upright for a standard sitting position, and reclining for a laid-back, thrilling ride experience. You can toggle between them instantly.
How to Change Seat Angle
1. Obtain a wrench (a Create mod tool).
2. Hold the wrench in your hand.
3. Approach the coaster seat you want to adjust.
4. Right-click the seat with the wrench.
5. The seat will toggle to the opposite angle. If it was upright, it becomes reclining, and vice versa.
6. Repeat this process on any other seats you want to adjust.
Design Tips
- Use upright seats for calm, scenic rides where visibility matters
- Use reclining seats on roller coasters and fast descents for dramatic effect
- Mix both angles on the same ride for visual variety and different experiences
- The angle is purely visual and cosmetic—both positions function identically for riding
You can change seat angles as many times as you like, so experiment to find the look that fits your build.
