Does this mod change how the Verity Demon attacks or just how it looks?
The mod only updates the model, texture, and animations—all the original attacks, damage values, and AI behavior stay exactly the same. You'll see smoother walking and chasing movements, plus a new grab-and-throw animation, but the demon's health and combat mechanics are unchanged.
What's the grab-and-throw attack and how do I avoid it?
This is a new animation where the Verity Demon picks you up and throws you, replacing some of its original attack patterns. Treat it like any other melee attack: maintain distance, use shields, or dodge when you see the demon approach close enough to grab.
Will this mod work with other Verity mods or addons?
Since this mod works as a separate file and doesn't modify the original game files, it should be compatible with most other Verity addons. However, if another mod also replaces the Verity Demon model or animations, they may conflict—test them together first.
Do I need to start a new world for the changes to show up?
No, the mod should apply to existing worlds immediately once installed. If you don't see the new yellow-gold model and animations, try reloading your world or restarting the game.
Why does the Verity Demon look different now but sound the same?
The mod intentionally keeps all original sounds and audio to preserve the creature's identity while giving it a fresh visual update. The new yellow-gold texture and detailed body model are the main visual changes.
Does this mod affect performance or cause lag?
The new detailed model and smoother animations may have a minor performance impact depending on your system, but the mod is optimized to minimize lag. If you experience stuttering during fights, try lowering your render distance or entity render distance in video settings.
What happens after the Verity Demon defeats me now?
The mod adds a special ground animation that plays after the demon kills a player, replacing the old behavior. This is purely visual and doesn't affect respawning or your items.
Can I disable just the new animations and keep the old model?
This mod is an all-in-one package, so you can't selectively disable parts of it. If you want the old animations back, you'd need to uninstall the mod entirely.
Are the walking and chasing animations faster or slower than before?
