Craft and Equip Your First Satchel

Getting Started with Satchels

To begin using the mod's core feature, you'll need to craft a satchel. The satchel is made from leather and basic crafting materials—check your crafting menu for the recipe, which typically uses leather in a pattern that reflects a pouch or bag shape.

Equipping and Using Your Satchel

Once crafted, place the satchel in your inventory. Unlike most tools, the satchel functions as an accessory that stays equipped without taking a hotbar slot. When equipped, six new storage slots appear directly beneath your active hotbar on the main game screen.

You can now:

• Store items by dragging them into the satchel slots
• Swap contents by pressing V to exchange your satchel's six items with the first six slots of your hotbar
• Quick-place items by holding Shift and pressing a hotbar number key (1–6) to send an item directly into the satchel

The satchel works seamlessly whether you're exploring, building, or managing inventory in chests and crafting tables. You can carry multiple satchels and swap between them as needed for different tasks.
