Changing Cooldown, Max Chain and Other Veinminer Settings

Opening the Settings Menu

Run /veinminer settings to view and change the options that control how veinmining behaves for you. The exact list depends on how the server is configured, but the common ones are cooldown, max chain size, and whether the feature is active.

What Each Setting Does

A longer cooldown slows you down; a shorter one lets you chain veins back to back. If you find yourself unable to veinmine immediately after a previous vein, this is why.

  • Max chain: the largest number of blocks a single veinmine can break. Raise it to clear big clusters in one swing, lower it to keep breaks small and controlled.
  • Toggle: the same on/off switch as /veinminer toggle, exposed here for convenience.

Adjusting Safely

Change one value at a time and test on a small vein before heading into a big mining trip. If a setting makes mining feel too aggressive, dial it back rather than disabling the plugin entirely. Server operators may lock some values, in which case your changes will not stick; if that happens, ask an admin rather than retrying the command repeatedly.
