how do i start veinmining?
Just break a single ore block with the correct tool while Veinminer is enabled, and the whole connected vein of the same ore breaks automatically. If nothing happens, check that Veinminer isn't toggled off with /veinminer toggle.
how do i use veinminer plugin?
Mine one block of an ore vein with the proper tool and the plugin chains through all touching ores of the same type. Use /veinminer toggle to turn it on or off and /veinminer settings to adjust how it behaves.
why is veinminer not working?
The most common causes are Veinminer being toggled off, using the wrong tool for that ore, or the block not being on the veinmineable list. Check /veinminer toggle first, then review your blocks list with /veinminer blocks.
does veinminer work with any tool?
No, each block needs the correct tool to be veinmined, just like normal mining. If you use the wrong tool, the vein won't chain and you'll only break the single block.
what does max chain mean in veinminer?
Max chain is the limit on how many blocks a single veinmine can break at once. If a vein is larger than your max chain, only that many blocks break, so raise the value in /veinminer settings if you want bigger veins to go in one swing.
how do i change the cooldown on veinminer?
Open /veinminer settings and adjust the cooldown option there. The cooldown is the wait time between veinmines, so lowering it lets you chain veins faster and raising it slows you down.
can i add blocks to the veinminer list?
Yes, use /veinminer blocks to edit which blocks are veinmineable. Add the block you want to chain, and it will be treated like ores the next time you mine it with the right tool.
does veinminer work on modded ores?
It can, as long as the ore is registered as veinmineable in the blocks list. If a modded ore doesn't chain, add it through /veinminer blocks.
is veinminer laggy on servers?
Veinminer is generally lightweight, but very large veins combined with a high max chain can cause brief lag spikes. Lowering max chain in /veinminer settings is the usual fix if you notice stuttering.
does veinminer work with other plugins?
It usually coexists fine with protection and economy plugins, but region or claim plugins may block veinmining inside protected areas. If a vein won't chain in a specific spot, check whether that area is protected.
