Adding or Removing Blocks From the Veinmineable List
Viewing the Current List
Run /veinminer blocks to see every block the plugin currently treats as veinmineable. This is the list that decides whether breaking one block triggers a chain. If an ore you expect to chain is not on the list, that is the reason it behaves like a normal block.
Editing the List
Use the same /veinminer blocks command with the appropriate arguments to add or remove entries. The exact syntax is shown in the command's help output, so run it once without arguments to read the usage before making changes. Adding a block tells the plugin to chain it; removing one stops it from chaining.
Things to Keep in Mind
- This is usually an operator-level change. On many servers regular players cannot edit the list, and the command will simply refuse.
- Add blocks that come in natural clusters, like ores. Adding common building blocks such as stone or dirt can make normal mining chaotic, since a single break could clear a large area.
- After editing, test on a small vein in a safe spot before relying on the change during a real mining run.
- If your edit does not seem to apply, re-run
/veinminer blocksto confirm the entry is actually listed.
