How to Level Up and Unlock Bigger Veins

Mining to gain levels

As you break blocks with veinmining active, you accumulate progress toward higher levels. Each level increases the maximum size of vein you can mine in a single action, so early on you will only clear small clusters while later levels let you sweep much larger deposits. Keep mining normally — there is no separate grind, the experience comes from the blocks you break.

Spending your progress

Open the mod's in-game GUI to see your current level and available upgrades. From there you can put progress toward mining efficiency, which affects how the mod performs as you clear veins. The GUI is the place to confirm how large a vein you can currently handle before you attempt a big one, so you do not waste a cooldown on a vein that is too large.

Practical tips

If a vein is bigger than your current cap, the mod will only break up to your limit, leaving the rest for a second pass. Mine the remainder after your cooldown clears. Because larger veins mean more dropped items at once, clear space around you or have storage ready before tackling a huge deposit, otherwise items may despawn or cause lag.
