Spotting Dangerous Blocks

Veinify marks several hazardous blocks so you can avoid them or prepare before they cause damage.

Infested Blocks and Silverfish

1. Look for the X pattern — Infested stone bricks and other silverfish blocks display a clear marking so you can identify them before breaking them.

2. Mine around them — Either avoid these blocks entirely or break them with a Silk Touch pickaxe to prevent silverfish from spawning.

3. Watch in strongholds — Infested blocks are common in End strongholds, so stay alert when exploring there.

Other Hazards

• Dripstone visibility — Sharp dripstone has increased contrast so you don't accidentally jump on it and take damage.
• Cobwebs — Made easier to see through, so you can spot what's behind them and navigate more safely.
• Fire flames — Reduced height on screen so burning doesn't obscure your view as much.

Mining Strategy

Use these visual improvements to plan your route before mining. Identify infested blocks and dripstone clusters from a distance, then decide whether to mine around them or prepare defenses. This prevents surprise damage and wasted time dealing with unexpected silverfish.
