Mine Specific Block Types with Vein Mining
Selecting the Right Tool
Vein Mining respects Minecraft's tool-to-block compatibility:
1. Pickaxes: Mine ore blocks (coal, iron, diamond, etc.) and stone variants
2. Axes: Mine wood logs and wood-related blocks in connected veins
3. Shovels: Mine dirt, sand, gravel, and similar soft blocks
4. Use the appropriate tool for the block type you're targeting
Targeting Connected Veins
When you activate vein mining:
1. Click on any block in the vein
2. All connected blocks of the same type will break
3. The mod only breaks blocks that are directly adjacent (touching) each other
4. Separated pockets of the same ore won't break—only the connected vein
This means you can efficiently clear large ore deposits without manually clicking each block, while still maintaining control over which veins you harvest.
