Make thrown items and blocks look more realistic

How the mod enhances realism

Vectorientation Mod automatically rotates falling blocks and items to face their direction of movement, mimicking real-world physics. Combined with squash-and-stretch effects, this creates more natural-looking flight paths.

Optimizing for your preference

The mod works automatically once installed, but you can fine-tune it:

1. Increase rotation responsiveness by adjusting how quickly blocks orient toward their velocity direction in the config

2. Enable squash-and-stretch to add weight and momentum perception—blocks appear to compress when accelerating downward

3. Disable effects on specific blocks that look unnatural (like end rods or decorative blocks)

Testing your setup

Throw sand, gravel, or concrete powder to see the effect in action. Watch how they tilt mid-air to face downward as they fall. Adjust config values incrementally and restart to find settings that feel right for your playstyle.

Since this is clientside-only, your personal settings won't affect other players on multiplayer servers.
