Vectorientation Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need to install this on the server or just my client?
Vectorientation Mod is entirely clientside, so you only need to install it on your game client. It works on any server without requiring the mod to be installed there.
Why aren't my blocks rotating when I throw them?
Check that rotation isn't disabled for that specific block in your config file. Also verify the mod is properly installed and loaded—you should see it listed in your mods menu.
How do I turn off squash and stretch for certain blocks?
Open the mod's configuration file and locate the block you want to modify, then set its squash and stretch value to zero or disable the deformation option for that block.
Can I make blocks rotate faster or slower?
The rotation speed is tied to the block's actual velocity in the game—faster-moving blocks will rotate more noticeably. You cannot adjust the rotation speed independently, but you can disable rotation entirely for specific blocks if desired.
What blocks does this mod affect?
The mod affects all falling blocks and thrown items by default. You can selectively disable rotation or deformation for individual blocks through the configuration file.
Does this mod affect gameplay or just visuals?
Vectorientation Mod is purely visual and clientside—it does not change how blocks fall, move, or interact with the world. The mechanics of thrown blocks and items remain the same; only their appearance changes.
Why do blocks look stretched or squashed when falling fast?
That's the squash and stretch effect, which deforms blocks based on their speed to make fast movement look more dynamic. You can reduce or disable this effect in the mod's configuration.
Is this mod compatible with other mods?
Yes, Vectoriorientation Mod is clientside and should be compatible with most other mods. If you experience issues with specific blocks from other mods not rotating, you may need to add them to the mod's configuration.
Does this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod has minimal performance impact since it only applies visual transformations to falling blocks. If you experience lag, try disabling squash and stretch or reducing the effect intensity in your config.
How do I configure the mod?
Look for the Vectorioration Mod configuration file in your config folder (usually `.minecraft/config/`). You can adjust squash and stretch intensity, disable rotation for specific blocks, and toggle features on or off.
