Set Up Vast Vault Alignment with Big Globe and YUNG's Better Dungeons

Prerequisites

Ensure you have installed:

  • Big Globe (world generation mod)
  • YUNG's Better Dungeons
  • Vast Vault Alignment Data Pack
  • Either Forge or Fabric loader (matching your other mods)

Installation Steps

1. Place the Vast Vault Alignment Data Pack into your world's datapacks folder. For existing worlds, locate the folder at world_name/datapacks/. For new worlds, the folder will be created automatically on first launch.

2. Create a new world and ensure Big Globe is selected as your world type during world creation.

3. Launch the world. The data pack will automatically load—you should see a confirmation message in chat.

4. Explore underground to verify dungeons are properly aligned. You should encounter complete dungeon rooms, corridors, and mob spawners without gaps or floating sections.

Troubleshooting

If dungeons still appear misaligned, confirm that Big Globe's custom height settings match your world generation configuration. The data pack adjusts structures based on the world height profile you've selected.
