Do I need this data pack if I'm only using YUNG's Better Dungeons without Big Globe?
No. This data pack only fixes alignment issues that occur when Big Globe changes world height and terrain generation. Standard YUNG's Better Dungeons works fine on its own.
Why are my dungeon rooms cut in half or floating in the air?
Big Globe alters underground layer heights, causing YUNG's Better Dungeons structures to spawn at incorrect vertical positions. Installing this data pack recalculates dungeon placement to match your world's actual terrain.
Can I add this data pack to a world I've already explored?
New dungeons will generate correctly in unexplored chunks, but previously generated broken dungeons won't be fixed. For best results, apply the data pack before exploring deep underground.
Does this work on Fabric servers or only single-player?
This data pack works on both Fabric and Forge servers as long as Big Globe and YUNG's Better Dungeons are installed on the server. All players will see properly aligned dungeons.
What happens if I use this pack without Big Globe installed?
The data pack won't cause crashes, but it won't do anything since there's no height misalignment to fix. Dungeons will generate normally.
Are mob spawners and loot chests guaranteed to spawn in aligned dungeons?
Yes. Once dungeons are properly aligned, all their internal features including spawners, corridors, and loot chests generate as intended by YUNG's Better Dungeons.
How deep underground do these dungeons spawn?
Dungeon depth varies based on Big Globe's terrain settings and your world's custom biome configuration. Use spectator mode or a cave finder to locate them efficiently.
Will this data pack affect performance or cause lag?
No. This pack only adjusts structure placement data during world generation; it doesn't add new blocks or entities that would impact frame rate.
Can I use this with other dungeon mods besides YUNG's Better Dungeons?
This pack is specifically designed for YUNG's Better Dungeons. Other dungeon mods may have their own alignment issues with Big Globe that require different solutions.
Do I need to regenerate my entire world to see the fix?
No. Only new chunks that haven't been generated yet will use the corrected alignment. You can explore new areas to find properly formed dungeons without resetting your world.
