How Loot Assignment Works

Various Starting Loot assigns different starting resources based on your spawn biome. The biome you spawn in determines which loot table activates, giving you items suited to that environment's playstyle.

Finding Your Biome's Loot

1. Note your spawn biome — check your coordinates and surrounding terrain

2. Receive your bonus chest (or inventory chest in mode 2)

3. Examine the contents — these items are tailored to your biome's challenges and resources

Strategy Tips

Different biomes offer different advantages. A forest spawn might provide wood-related tools, while a desert spawn could include sand-related items or heat-resistant gear. Understanding what your biome offers helps you plan your early game strategy.

If you want to experience different loot, you can create multiple worlds with different spawn biomes, or use commands to teleport to new biomes and observe what loot would be available there.
