Does this data pack disable ALL villages or just the modded ones?
This data pack only removes village variants added by Repurposed Structures. Vanilla villages will still spawn normally, so you can still find villagers for trading and breeding.
Will dungeons, temples, and fortresses still generate?
Yes, all non-village structures from Repurposed Structures remain active, including dungeons, temples, fortresses, and outposts. Only the village generation is disabled.
How do I install this data pack?
Place the data pack file in your world's datapacks folder, then run `/reload` in-game to activate it. You can verify it's working by checking the data pack list in your world settings.
Do I need to start a new world for this to work?
Yes, data packs affect world generation, so you should apply this to a new world. Applying it to an existing world won't remove structures that already generated.
Can I use this with other data packs?
Yes, this data pack is compatible with most other data packs as long as they don't conflict with Repurposed Structures village generation. Load order rarely matters for this type of modification.
Will this affect my performance or FPS?
This data pack may slightly improve performance by reducing the number of structures the game generates, but the difference is usually minimal unless you were playing on a very low-end system.
How do I find villages for trading if modded villages are gone?
Vanilla villages still generate naturally in plains, savannas, deserts, taigas, and snowy biomes. Search these biomes as you normally would, or use the locate command to find them.
Can I disable just certain village types instead of all of them?
This data pack disables all Repurposed Structures villages at once. If you want finer control, you would need to use Repurposed Structures' own configuration options instead.
Does this work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, add this data pack to your server's world folder and restart the server. All players will experience the same village generation rules.
What if I change my mind and want villages back?
