Clearing leftover markers

Occasionally, markers fail to delete properly and remain visible in your world. Use /vanillapings removeOld to clear all lingering markers at once. This command removes any pings that should have already despawned.

Marker not appearing

If you ping something but see no marker:

• Confirm the glowing effect is enabled with /vanillapings glowing
• Check that you're within the configured ping range
• Verify you've waited for the cooldown timer to reset since your last ping
• Ensure the target (block, mob, or item) is actually in front of your crosshair

Reloading configuration

If you've edited the configuration file directly, use /vanillapings reload to apply changes without restarting the server. This refreshes all settings including language, ranges, and visual effects.
