Use Fullbright While Keeping Atmospheric Lighting Effects

Balancing Visibility with Ambiance

The Vanilla Fullbright Resource Pack removes darkness entirely, which can make your world feel flat. If you want clear visibility without losing all atmospheric lighting—like the glow of lava or the subtle dimming of caves—you can layer this pack with other visual enhancements.

Combining with Other Packs

1. Keep Vanilla Fullbright installed as your primary pack

2. Install a complementary pack (such as one focused on color grading or contrast) *above* Fullbright in your resource pack list

3. The pack listed higher takes priority, so order matters: place atmospheric packs on top

4. Test in different environments—caves, the Nether, and night scenes—to ensure the combination feels right

Fine-Tuning the Effect

If the combination feels too dark, move Fullbright back to the top of the list. If it's too bright and washed out, adjust the upper pack's opacity or blend settings. You may need to experiment with 2-3 different pack combinations to achieve the visibility you want while preserving mood and depth.
