Troubleshoot Missing Connected Textures

Verify Resource Pack is Active

Open your resource pack menu and confirm the Vanilla Connected Textures Resource Pack appears in your active packs list. If it's in the inactive list, drag it to the active side. Check that no error message appears—if the pack fails to load, try restarting your game.

Check Block Adjacency

Connected textures only apply when blocks of the same type are directly adjacent. Verify you're placing matching blocks next to each other. Different colored stained glass panes, for example, won't connect to each other—only identical blocks will show the effect.

Resource Pack Priority

If another resource pack is active above the Vanilla Connected Textures pack in your list, it may override the connected textures. Reorder your packs so Vanilla Connected Textures loads after any conflicting packs. If using a complete texture overhaul pack, that pack may not support connected textures for all blocks, which is expected behavior.
