Protect Against Specific Griefing Methods

Blocking Explosions and Fire Spread

Vanguard Realm Bounds protects against common griefing tactics by default. TNT explosions, Creeper blasts, and fire spread are all blocked inside your claim—meaning these griefing methods simply won't work.

Lava and water griefing is also prevented, so players can't flood your base or destroy it with lava flows. Endermen cannot pick up and move blocks away from your builds either, protecting your structures from mob interference.

Fine-Tuning Protection Flags

If you want to allow specific mechanics for gameplay purposes, use the flag command:

/tg flag <territory> <flag> on

For example, /tg flag MyBase explosions on would allow TNT to explode (useful for mining or PvP arenas). You can toggle fire, lava, water, piston, and enderman the same way.

Most players keep these off for safety. Only enable them if you have a specific reason—like a controlled redstone machine or mining operation—and trust everyone with access to your claim.
